Before we start sharing with you Indoor Cycling events. We have to remind you of the notorious organization called Canfitpro. They have been caught advertising to young people that they can make them a professional personal trainer in 3 months if you pay them several hundreds of dollars. Canfitpro is owned by GoodLife Fitness, who are known for the 100’s of complaints against them. See the proof by clicking here; they got 90 % NEGATIVE REVIEWS on Better Business Bureau.
And just recently in 2018, GoodLife Fitness who owns Canfitpro, has settled a class-action lawsuit over unpaid wages for $7.5 million dollars. Thank you Toronto Star for the report
In addition. The city of Burnaby in British Columbia does not accept CanFitPro Trainers. Ms. Marise Okruhlica who is the Program Coordinator for the Burnaby Fitness & Community Centre stated that she doesn’t accept CanFitpro for Group Fitness Instructors. Therefore, we totally agree with the professional community, and totally support the negative reviews against Canfitpro.
Now. When you think that it cannot get any worse. Rod Macdonald, who was the “vice president” of CanFitpro for years just got up and left, and started his “life coach” business. Rod is gone. Did Rod leave because of the “president” Nathalie Lacombe? We ourselves had awful experiences with Nathalie Lacombe.
As such. We encourage everyone to write to David Patchell-Evans, ceo of Goodlife and demand change. ([email protected] )
Canfitpro does host a yearly conferences which many NON CANFITPRO fitness leaders attend. They just attend for a day and get out without having to endorse CanFitPro.
At the conference you can register for Indoor Cycling Certifications and Workshops. Here is the schedule for the August 2018 sessions which will be held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
